I’m sitting here watching the news, waiting for the chicken to be done.  It’ll take forever for it to cook.  For some reason, my stove just doesn’t like to work like it used to lately.  Just one more thing the landlord wouldn’t fix.

The boy came by last week and got his rent. He said he would come by this weekend and mow the lawns but lo and behold, my grass is about two feet high in my front lawn lol.

He said his wife bought a little store and they were fixing it up.  It seems like there is always something, some kind of property that they are buying that takes precedent over us.

     Slumlord. *rolls eyes*

My daughter informed me that there are less than 14 days left to school this year.  Jeez…her first year of high school is over.  That means only three years to go and I can put the reins in her hands lol.  Yeah I know…mean mommy.  *sigh*

It’s still cold here today (in the house) but it should warm up to the upper 70’s tomorrow.  This spring has been so weird.  It can’t decide if it wants to snow, get warm, rain all the time or start this year’s drought.  I grew up in Massachusetts and except for the storm in ’78 and the tornado that we had one year, the seasonal weather was pretty regular.  You could have 50 types of weather on one DAY but when spring arrived, it was there.  It didn’t run back and forth in between spring and winter.

Of course, when summer finally gets here and is 105 degrees in the shade, I’ll be wondering where the hell fall is…

Sounds like you need a new landlord! I hate when they are supposed to cut grass and wont..if it were the other way around, you would be evicted for not keeping the yard up! Yep schools almost done for this year...my baby Graduates in June!!!

I do, but I don't want to move just yet. I would have a ton of trouble finding an apaprtment right now that could be accessible to me. And I want to wait til my daughter graduates high school and hits eighteen...then I can go anywhere I want.
Congrats!
